說明 在歐洲大部分地區，肉品低價化已是生活的一部分，不過廉價肉品背後隱藏的，是拉丁美洲地區因大規模地種植大豆以及因化學物品過度使用所帶來的毒素污染與環境破壞行為。生態學者影片小組(Ecologist Film Unit)最新公佈的影片「殺戮農場：歐洲廉價牛肉的真正代價」指出，歐洲超市販售的低價肉品與乳製品，大部分都是拉丁美洲最窮困的國家裡嚴重傷害人權以及破壞環境下的產物。 於巴拉圭進行的研究發現，為了供應集約畜牧業所需的飼料而大規模地種植大豆，已經衍生出一連串社會與生態浩劫.
